Dog Grooming Services
Befur & After offers professional grooming services for pups. From bathing, grooming, custom cuts, and nail trimming, to ear and teeth cleaning. We are fully equipped to handle all of your pet’s grooming needs. Please see a description of our services below.
Pricing depends upon your pet’s breed, size and temperament as well as the services selected.
Full Bath & Brush
Includes all-purpose shampoo, blow drying, external anal gland expression (as needed), nail trimming/ear cleaning/plucking, and a quick brush out.
Mini Grooming
All of the above plus trimming the sanitary, feet/paw pads, and face.
Full Groom Package
All of the above plus an all over body haircut.
Double Coated / Doodles / Other Large Dogs
We love all of our furry friends! But some breeds: double coated (e.g., Shih Tzu, Yorkie); Doodles; and other large dogs like Great Pyrenees, Newfoundland, etc. require a lot more time and physical exertion to groom because of their size and/or hand scissoring that’s required to make them beautiful! We routinely reserve two grooming slots for these pups to make sure we give them the attention they deserve and the level of service you expect. But this decreases the number of dogs a groomer can take each day.
So, like most groom shops, we’re having to add a 15 – 20% service charge to cover the extra time and energy our groomers dedicate making your fur baby gorgeous.
Want to save $$$?
This advice is for all pet owners. One of the ways to save is to keep your pup on a regular 4-to-6-or 8-week grooming schedule. Having a regular maintenance schedule, results in their spending less time at the salon and requires less work by the groomer. Ask your groomer what the best schedule is for your pup. Also, our groomers are always happy to share brushing and bathing tips which will also help maintain their coat in-between-visits.
